MATHEMATICS SEMINAR
The All Goa Mathematics Teachers’ Association in collaboration with SCERT, Govt. of Goa is organizing its annual Mathematics Seminar for the students of Secondary Schools every year. The topic for this year’s seminar is “Exploring branches of Mathematics”
The seminar will be held first at the Zonal Level on Monday, 11th September 2023 at 9.30 am at three different Zones mentioned below. Minimum first four students from each Zone will be selected for the State Level Seminar. Five in case the number of entries exceeds ten; six in case the number of entries exceeds fifteen and seven in case the number of entries exceeds twenty. The state Level Seminar will be held on Friday 15th September 2023 at 9.30 am. Venue of same will be declared soon.
RULES & REGULATIONS
1. Eligibility: - Any one student (Std IX only)
2. Language of delivery: - English
3. Duration of delivery: - 07 (seven) minutes
4. Supporting Materials: - Power Point Presentation Slides in Microsoft 2007 with no animations on CD and Pen Drive both (not more than 5)
5. Assessment Criteria:- a. Information (40%) b. Delivery (30%) c. Supporting Materials (20%) d. Probing Questions (10%). VENUE & INCHARGES FOR ZONAL LEVEL SEMINAR
